Continuing from my previous post about neighborhood schools and low income students placed in a disadvantage, this video takes a different perspective. This video talks about a program that inspires low income and minority students in the New York City area .The SEO Scholars Program is an enrichment program that prepares students from inner city schools for the academic pressures of college. This program not only helps students succeed in gaining admission to competitive schools, it also gives them the self-confidence that they will need while in college.
